Description

R-4066 (Spirodone) It is an opioid analgesic, a derivative of norpipanone, developed by Janssen Pharmaceuticals, which has a high opioid potency, approximately 212 times stronger than methadone. This drug has never been studied in humans and is a research drug, but presumably it can cause an effect similar to fetanil.

Studies in mice have shown that R-4066 acts as a strong analgesic similar to fentanyl, and also causes sedation, constipation, and itching. At high dosages of this drug, respiratory depression, vomiting and other signs of poisoning with the substance, up to a fatal outcome, are possible.
